GATE applies its stringent state of the art Technology Evaluation Model (TEM). Every technology has to meet the following key criteria before GATE’s consideration for commercialization.

• Technologically Innovative- Patented or Patentable
• Economically Feasible- Production cost should be competitive
• Market Viability- Technology/product should have strong and sustainable marker potential

GATE will not consider commercializing any technology that doesn’t meet all these three important criteria.
