Fly ash synthetic wood

Wealth from wastes
This technology has a fully developed process that converts solid wastes into synthetic building wood/materials such as structural lumber using 70% coal fly ash as the main ingredient. This technology also produces roof tiles, doors, lumber, etc. using various types of wastes (fillers), e.g., ashes, clay, sand, glass, plastic, etc. The products are maintenance-free, fire, termite and weather resistant, lightweight and tough.

Bio-Energy Production

Energy from wastes
This technology is used in more than 92 fluidized bed energy systems providing over five million hours of operating experience. It disposes difficult waste materials and provides efficient, economical and environmentally favorable waste-to-energy solution. The system uses plant biomass wastes to generate process steam and/or hot gas for direct-fired dryer applications. Application of the state-of-the-art technology has been expanded to include independent power production facilities and utility power boiler conversion from antiquated stoker technology. Now considered the technology-of-choice for many applications, the systems are employed in a broad range of industries to convert a wide variety of waste products to energy.

The systems have logged significant operating time utilizing such diverse fuels as biomass, hog fuel, refuse derived fuel, demolition waste, urban waste, tree pruning, waste paper, paper sludge, sewage sludge, coal (ranging from anthracite to sub-bituminous), waste plastics, paunch manure, chicken litter, rice hulls, peat lignite, cow manure, railway ties, and tires. Agricultural waste such as sugarcane baggage, cotton stalks, rice straw, wheat straw, olive pits, orchard pruning, cotton hulls and almond shells have been successfully utilized as fuel for electrical power production.
